Who are UK Oil and Gas Ltd? We are one of the Regions leading Heating and Plumbing Specialists, family owned and family run. We take pride in our work, employing hand picked installers, who will work to a high standard.
Once an installation date in confirmed, can it be broken? We have a proud record that we will arrive on the day and at the time organised.
Can I contact a member of Embers staff for more information or to request a viewing?
 Yes, you can contact a member of Embers staff by using the Contact Embers page and filling in the form provided. The contact page is represented by the phone image.
How do I use the website?
 To use the website, click on the images on the main screen each image will take you to different area of the site. Once past the main screen you can navigate the website by using the links situated between the two orange lines.
What do I do if I want to proceed with my order? Simply call our free phone number; our friendly staff are on hand to take your order.
Do you offer annual servicing? Yes, our current price is £50 plus VAT.
What if I have problems? Just ring our office. Our labour warranty is 1 year. Materials are subject to Manufacturers guidelines.
Do you have any finance packages? Yes, you can spread the cost of your installation up to 60 months.
Do you offer any other services besides Heating and Plumbing? Yes we do, just ask. We offer a range of fires, mantles and marbles, bathroom installations and much more. Why not visit us at ‘Embers’.
Who do I order my heating oil from? We are agents for CPL and as such we will be happy to arrange your oil delivery.
Can I see the products you use? Yes, we have a shop called ‘Embers’ which is situated on Carre Street, Sleaford. We also have a shop in Horncastle situated at 5 Bull Ring. There we have many products for you to look at.
Can I see one of your installations? Yes we will be happy to organise this for you.
Do you have any references? Yes. Many of our clients writes to us, and thee is always one of our satisfied customers not far away.
How many years experience have you? We have been in the business for over 20 years.
You say UK Oil and Gas Ltd endeavours to beat any like for like genuine quote! Can you? We are confident that we cannot be beaten on price.
Are there any hidden extras? No. Even the rubbish is removed.
You have given me a quotation. What is the difference between a Quotation and an estimate? Quotation prices are legally binding. The price cannot be increased unless extra works are authorised. Our quotations are valid for 60 days. Estimates are a guide price and can be more expensive when the bill arrives.
What products do you use? Only quality products i.e. Worcester Bosch and Baxi Potterton for boilers, Prorad radiators, Midas and Titan for oil tanks, Speed Fit for under floor heating and Yorkshire tube/fittings.
Will your engineers take care of my home when installing? Our engineers take the greatest of care when working in your home. To ensure your home is kept safe and clean we use dustsheets to protect your furnishings and floors, they always clean the affected areas upon leaving the premises.
Are you a registered company? Yes, our company registration number is 4711166. You can also find us on the register for approved fitters for the Lincolnshire Energy Efficiency Advice Centre.
Are your tradesmen qualified to do the job correctly? Our tradesmen have the relevant qualifications: City and Guilds for Plumbing and Heating, qualifications for working with Gas and OFTEC for working with Oil. Our registration numbers are in the address logo at the top of this page.
Can a fitter who is not registered install for me? No. It is illegal for gas installations to be carried out by anyone who is not registered. Every gas installation has to be recorded which is kept on a database. With oil installations, if your installer is not OFTEC registered you need to obtain Building Regulation approval which involves paying a fee to the local authority.
